Positive- friendly staff. What I feel needs to improve- Nails- there are no nail cards to choose your colour. You have to choose a bottle making it difficult to judge the colour. For some reason they dont do any cuticle work, just file and apply colour. Makes the experience feel a bit sloppy and the end result is poor but you still pay what other salons charge despite them only doing part of the job. Sun bed- dont think the tubes have been changed in years. Its very weak and often grubby inside. Massage- not sure how it couldve been called a massage, it was lighter than a rub. The girl simply ran her fingers along my back so lightly it could not even passed as a rub. I looked forward to the scalp massage part thinking itd be better but again it was just light finger tips, no massage or any pressure. Pointless. I travel to Saltash now as the two beauty salons are equally poor.
Ive just seen a review for Pamelas Hairdressing and I just have to say its a very unfair statement.Ive tried quite a few Hairdressers in Callington,But was never happy with the cuts or Hairstyling and travelled to Plymouth to have my Hair done.When Pam started work at the Beauty Arcade I made an appointment and never looked back.Shes got lots of experience and shes great with Hair and colour.The best Hairdresser Ive come across and thats including one of the top Hairdressers in Plymouth.You wont be disappointed.
Disappointing hair salon. Would recommend going to another place to get your hair done. Messy and sloppy. Stylist definitely needs more training and a little bit of enthusiasm for her trade.
My girlfriend has her hair done here today. Pamela the stylist was excellent and did a really good job. Would highly recommend.
My Wife loves it here. She enjoys getting her nails pampered.I have had a massage here as well, it was very good.
