Thank you Cartech - advice was very helpful and did what it said on the tin, worked first time and not a bad price to sort quite a scary part of a vehicle. If you have ECU problems and unsure what to do CALL because you get told do this try that or buy an old one and my mate will program it etc etc - from posting my ecu 3 days last car running fine.
