Can be a bit hit and miss quality wise. Expensive too, 2 x haddock & 1x large chips, 1 x curry sauce is over 17.50! Staff are good though and there is the option to eat-in.

Poor quality and service. Our chips was greasy and tasted bad, the batter on the fish was sub par, the batter on our jumbo sausage was just salt covered by really bad and stodgy batter. Awful. The service for a large telephone order was also poor. Rude on the phone, and then didn't cook enough chips for the order, so we had half the order bagged up, then had to wait for more chips to cook. So some hot and some food cold.Unfortunately, it is the only chip shop open on Monday. If it's another day, head to gunnislake chip shop. Far better.
The fish I got there was okay, but based on the menu you have no sense of what you're getting. The portions of chips were waaay too big despite the fish being just enough. As they're the only place serving take away food that time when I called there was not really a choice. ;)
This place has gone down hill big time!... was very disappointed with tonight's meal the chicken burger tasted very cheap and was over priced for the quality... the chips 100% tasted like they had been re heated they most deffinatly wernt fresh... the *cod* did not taste like cod and the batter was undercooked we won't be eating here again.
